Flamenco and Poetry (Nieves)

Sometimes, the mixture of flamenco and poetry has been criticized but even so, great teachers have dared to combined the two styles, leading to a succesful ending.
An example of this can be found with Camaron de la Isla, when performed two poems of Federico Gracia Lorca: "La Tarara" and "Nana del Caballo Grande" included in his tragedy: "Bodas de Sangre".

What do you think of this combination?  Do you think that should not have done?

  1. I am not really into flamenco, but I know that Camaron is well-known in that style, so even if I don't understand or like it, he has a good fame.
On the other hand, I think that Lorca thought about that kind of music when he wrote his poems.

  2. hello! well...really the flamenco is not the music I like more, I listen pop-disco like Lady Gaga and Madonna because I think they are a inpiration for me, for the same I think that music (flamenco) is inspiration too for a thousand to people but not only that, It's a lifestyle.
And anyway, Camaron was the best of the world ever and that is a reallity, he was incredible therefore I don't like.
